Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is August Moss
By day, I am a ceramic artist, shaping raw clay into tactile, intentional pieces meant to ground us in the present moment. By night and every weekend in between, that same appreciation for texture and form fuels my deep passion for photography.
For me my craft is all about connection and fostering a relationship between creators and viewers all alike. Whether we are throwing clay on the wheel, elbows deep in reclaim or i'm posing you in-front of the camera, we are together in that moment.
01.
Fact 1
I have a giant love for all wild life and will happily handle anything if given the opportunity. Fear is not in my language when it comes to these guys. I'm the friend that gets called if something needs relocation.
02.
Fact 2
When I'm not behind my lens you will find me at the pottery shop (shout out The Hunny Pot Studio) covered in clay hyper focused on my third brain child that day.
03.
Fact 3
I collect strange things from bones discovered on a river bank to a cool rock I spotted 10 feet away. Good chances you could bribe me with roadkill.
04.
Fact 4
I absolutely despise socks and shoes, growing up I ran around barefoot and find the compression of foot wear almost painful. If shoes are not required i will not wear them.
